Search for Squeezed-Pair Correlations at RHIC

open access: yes, 2008
Squeezed correlations of particle-antiparticle pairs, also called Back-to-Back Correlations, are predicted to appear if the hadron masses are modified in the hot and dense hadronic medium formed in high energy nucleus-nucleus collisions.

Microfluidic Hydroporation Platform for Effective Allogeneic CAR‐T Cell Production and Subsequent Functional Cytotoxicity Analysis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
The hydroporator platform employs controlled hydrodynamic deformation for efficient mRNA and CRISPR/Cas9 delivery into primary human T cells, enabling allogeneic CAR‐T cell manufacturing. It preserves cell functionality and drives potent gene editing, CAR expression, and tumor cytotoxicity, while feature‐based analysis links these functional outcomes ...

On squeezed flow of couple stress nanofluid between two parallel plates

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2017
The present communication provides an analytical treatment of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) squeezing flow of couple stress nanomaterial between two parallel surfaces. Constitutive relations of couple stress fluid are used in the problem formulation.

Passive Shape‐Adaptive Fluidic Interface for Enhanced Skin‐Sensor Coupling in Wearable Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This study presents a passive fluidic interface for wearable biosensors that adapts to static and dynamic body shape changes to maintain consistent skin contact. Flexible, fluid‐filled pouches redistribute pressure from high‐load areas to regions requiring improved contact, enhancing signal quality and comfort in a compact, low‐energy design for ...

Symplectic embeddings of polydisks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
If P is a polydisk with radii R_1 < ... < R_n and P' is a polydisk with radii R'_1 < ... < R'_n, then we construct a symplectic embedding from P into P' provided that C(n) R_1 < R'_1 and C(n) R_1 ... R_n < C(n) R'_1 ... R'_n.

Simulation of Lubricated Squeezing Flow of a Herschel-Bulkley Fluid Under Constant Force

open access: yesApplied Rheology, 2000
Lubricated squeezing flow (LSF) of a Herschel-Bulkley fluid between parallel disks under constant force was theoretically analyzed. An analytical expression for the fluid thickness as a function of time was obtained in terms of a hypergeometric function.
