Nonclassical statistical properties of fields in squeezed even and squeezed odd coherent states
Journal of the Optical Society of America B, 1993We examine the nonclassical statistical properties of the squeezed even and the squeezed odd coherent states defined by the superposed states involving two squeezed coherent states with phase difference π between their displacement parameters. We demonstrate that the fields in the squeezed even coherent state can exhibit a remarkably enhanced squeezing

On classical properties of thermal squeezed states
Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and General, 1991The authors use the formalism of thermo field dynamics and the classical Cramer's theorem to show that if two quantum systems are prepared independently and their centre of mass is found to be a thermal squeezed state, then both systems were prepared in thermal squeezed states. This constitutes an alternative derivation of the quantum version of Cramer'

Properties of Squeeze Cast, Magnesium-Based Composites
SAE Technical Paper Series, 1991<div class="htmlview paragraph">The present paper deals with the pressure infiltration of short fiber preforms by molten magnesium alloys. Saffil aluminum oxide fibers and AZ91 and AS41 matrix alloys were the materials selected for the composites. The mechanical and physical properties of the composites were measured. Superpositions of squeezed displaced Fock states: Properties and generation
Journal of Modern Optics, 1999Abstract The s-parametrized characteristic function for the superposition of squeezed displaced Fock states (SDFSs) is given. The s-parametrized distribution functions for the superposition of SDFSs are investigated. Various moments are calculated by using this characteristic function. The Glauber second-order coherence function is calculated.

q-phase-coherent states and their squeezing properties
Journal of Mathematical Physics, 1998Some kinds of q-phase-coherent states of a q-harmonic osscillator in a finite-dimensional Hilbert space are constructed. Some properties of these states are discussed. Second-order squeezing properties of these states with respect to the phase quadrature operators are studied.

Two-Mode Excited Squeezed Vacuum State and Its Properties
Communications in Theoretical Physics, 2008Summary: In this paper, the two-mode excited squeezed vacuum state (TESVS) is studied by using the statistical method. By calculating the normalization of the TESVS, a new form of Jacobi polynomials and some new identities are obtained. The photon number distribution of the TESVS is given and it is a simple form of Jacobi polynomials.

Viscoelastic properties in plane squeeze-film flows
Journal of Non-Newtonian Fluid Mechanics, 1978Abstract In this paper, we consider the problem of plane squeeze-film flows in a kinematics based on the formalism of convected (moving and deforming) coordinates. The flows discussed are treated as instantaneous motions with proportional stretch histories (cf. [16]).
