Possible pairing mechanism switching driven by structural symmetry breaking in BiS2-based layered superconductors

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2021
Investigation of isotope effects on superconducting transition temperature (T c) is one of the useful methods to examine whether electron–phonon interaction is essential for pairing mechanisms. The layered BiCh2-based (Ch: S, Se) superconductor family is

Bose-Einstein Condensation of $^{88}$Sr Through Sympathetic Cooling with $^{87}$Sr [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We report Bose-Einstein condensation of $^{88}$Sr, which has a small, negative s-wave scattering length ($a_{88}=-2$\,$a_0$). We overcome the poor evaporative cooling characteristics of this isotope by sympathetic cooling with $^{87}$Sr atoms.

Ground state properties of exotic nuclei near Z=40 in the relativistic mean-field theory, [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
Study of the ground-state properties of Kr, Sr and Zr isotopes has been performed in the framework of the relativistic mean field (RMF) theory using the recently proposed relativistic parameter set NL-SH.

C- and Sr-isotope stratigraphy of the São Caetano complex, Northeastern Brazil: a contribution to the study of the Meso-Neoproterozoic seawater geochemistry

open access: yesAnais da Academia Brasileira de Ciências, 2005
C-isotope and 87Sr/86Sr values for five carbonate successions from the São Caetano Complex, northeastern Brazil, were used to constrain their depositional age and to determine large variations in the C- and Sr-isotopic composition of seawater under the ...

Bioavailable soil and rock strontium isotope data from Israel [PDF]

open access: yesEarth System Science Data, 2020
Strontium isotope ratios (87Sr ∕ 86Sr) of biogenic material such as bones and teeth reflect the local sources of strontium ingested as food and drink during their formation. This has led to the use of strontium isotope ratios as a geochemical tracer in a

Inclusion of a suite of weathering tracers in the cGENIE Earth system model – muffin release v.0.9.23 [PDF]

open access: yesGeoscientific Model Development, 2021
The metals strontium (Sr), lithium (Li), osmium (Os) and calcium (Ca), together with their isotopes, are important tracers of weathering and volcanism – primary processes which shape the long-term cycling of carbon and other biogeochemically important ...

Isotope-shift spectroscopy of the ^{1}S_{0}→^{3}P_{1} and ^{1}S_{0}→^{3}P_{0} transitions in strontium

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2019
Isotope-shift spectroscopy with narrow optical transitions provides a benchmark for atomic structure calculations and has also been proposed as a way to constrain theories predicting physics beyond the standard model.

Rapid Purification of Sr and Nd for Isotope Analysis with Multiple-column Method

open access: yesYankuang ceshi, 2020
BACKGROUND The Sr and Nd isotopic compositions of a sample depend on its initial isotopic ratios, the ratios between the parent nuclide and daughter product, and the decay time.
