An asymmetric supercapacitor including thiosemicarbazone exhibited a large operating potential of 1.8 V, allowing it to reach higher energy density values (56.5 Wh kg−1 at 1.0 Ag−1) and is stable up to 10 000 cycles. Abstract A thiosemicarbazone‐based iron(III) complex is prepared and used in the preparation of a supercapacitor electrode material. This

Aligned Permanent Magnet Made in Seconds–An In Situ Diffraction Study
The formation of a strontium hexaferrite magnet from cold compacted goethite and strontium carbonate is studied using in situ synchrotron powder X‐ray diffraction (PXRD) with a 16‐ms time resolution. Texture with the c‐axis parallel to the pressing direction prevailed through the iron oxide phase transitions. Strontium hexaferrite formed within seconds

Patterned ferrimagnetic thin films of spinel ferrites obtained directly by laser irradiation [PDF]
Some spinel ferrites can be oxidized or transformed at moderate temperatures. Such modifications werecarried out on thin films of mixed cobalt copper ferrites and maghemite, by heating small regions with alow-power laser spot applied for about 100 ns ...

Effect of pH variation on magnetic properties of strontium hexaferrite nanoparticles synthesized by sol gel process [PDF]
A strontium ferrite (SrFe12O19) nanoparticle was prepared by sol gel auto combustion method at 800°C and 900°C and at various pH (pH 1, 3 and 5). The SrFe12O19 powder was characterized by using Thermogravimetric analyses (TGA), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD ...
