KOMPOZICIA AGRARNEHO EXPORTU SR A CR

1999
The composition of the agricultural exports of the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic is analysed and compared. The calculated values of the index showed that the composition of exports of the two republics was similar and the same similarity was detected both in the market economies and economies in transition.

Frederick Law Olmsted, Sr.: A Reassessment

Journal of the American Institute of Planners, 1972
Abstract Frederick Law Olmsted's works of park design have recently received renewed attention as fitting examples of the direction contemporary open space planning should take in providing recreational facilities in our urban areas. Although he argued in his writings for urban parks devoted solely to natural scenery, there are wide disparities between

Structure of slow-reacting substance of anaphylaxis (SRS-A)

Prostaglandins, 1980
To elucidate the chemical structure of slow-reacting substance of anaphylaxis from rat (SRS-A rat), SRS-A rat were purified by the method of Orange with modification using DEAE-Sephadex A-25 chromatography. Ultraviolet absorption spectrum of purified SRS-A rat indicated the presence of conjugated triene.

Leucotrienes, SRS-A and the vascular manifestations of PCA

Agents and Actions, 1981
In order to study possible mediators of the vascular manifestations of passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA), several arachidonic acid metabolites were injected into guinea-pig skin. SRS-A, LTB4, LTC and LTD increased vascular permeability, responses to LTs being enhanced by PGE2.

“SRS-A” The slow reacting substance of anaphylaxis

Biochemical Pharmacology, 1963
Abstract It is now recognized that histamine is only one of several pharmacologically active substances contributing to the phenomenon of anaphylaxis. SRS-A is one of these; it is an acidic substance of small molecular size, and present evidence indicates that it is important in human asthma.

UML-SR: A Novel Security Requirements Specification Language

2019 IEEE 19th International Conference on Software Quality, Reliability and Security (QRS), 2019
Existing security specification languages are not fully equipped to express low-level security requirements and design decisions such as input validation (a security requirement for a number of highly severe vulnerabilities). This inability of current specification languages compels developers to make security-related decisions on their own. We propose,

Pulmonary Pharmacology of the SRS-A Leukotrienes

1983
Although airway constriction is a prominent feature of many allergic syndromes, the exact cause of this constriction is still unclear. For many years, histamine was thought to play a major role as a mediator of this constriction, but the demonstration by Brocklehurst [1] that classic (H1) antihistamines did not prevent antigen-induced airway ...

Synthesis of optically active leukotriene (SRS-A) intermediates

Tetrahedron Letters, 1980
Abstract In an approach to SRS-A and analogues thereof, the key (5 S , 6 S )-epoxy alcohol 9 and its 6-epimer 18 were prepared starting from D -araboascorbic acid and L -diethyl tartrate, respectively.

Mast Cell Granule Peroxidase: Location, Secretion, and SRS-A Inactivation

The Journal of Immunology, 1979
Abstract Rat peritoneal mast cells contain peroxidase as demonstrated both histochemically and enzymatically. This enzyme is localized to the mast cell granule where it is concentrated along with histamine and superoxide dismutase (SOD).

SRS‐A leukotrienes decrease the activity of human respiratory cilia

Clinical & Experimental Allergy, 1987
SummaryWe have studied the effects of the slow reacting substance of anaphylaxis (SRS‐A) constituents leukotrienes (LT) C4 and D4 on the ciliary activity of human respiratory cells. The ciliary beat frequency on human nasal cells harvested by cell scraping from the inferior turbinate was measured in a blind design by a microphoto‐oscillographic ...
