Enhancement of flow properties, solubility, and dissolution of the atazanavir by spherical crystallization

open access: yesJournal of Applied Pharmaceutical Research
Background: The present work aimed to develop spherical agglomerates of Atazanavir (ATZR) with enhanced flow properties, compressibility, solubility, and dissolution. 22 full factorial design approach was employed to develop agglomerates.

Crystallographic Modification of Rosuvastatin Calcium: Formulation, Characterization and Pharmacokinetic Evaluation for Enhanced Dissolution, Stability and Bioavailability

open access: yesScientia Pharmaceutica
Rosuvastatin calcium is a promising lipid-lowering agent and the drug of choice in hyperlipidemia. Conventional solid oral delivery of rosuvastatin is limited by its poor solubility and ultimately poor bioavailability.

Application of 3D GIS Flood Simulation to Investigate the Source of Inundation at Pekan Sub-District

open access: yesASM Science Journal, 2019
Flood is usually caused by heavy precipitation that eventually lead to river spillage. In some rare cases, inundation could happen due to the accumulation of water on land cover resulting in stagnant flooding.

Climatic niche divergence and high‐elevation adaptation promoted rapid diversification of Pimoa spiders in Pan‐Himalaya

open access: yesEcography, EarlyView.
The Pan‐Himalayan region harbors exceptional biodiversity, yet the origins and underlying mechanisms driving this remarkable diversity remain poorly understood, especially among species‐rich invertebrates. Pimoa spiders exhibit an intercontinental disjunct distribution across three major mountain regions: the Rockies, the Alps, and the Pan‐Himalaya ...

Solutions of two open problems on inequalities involving trigonometric and hyperbolic functions

open access: yesCubo
In 2019, Bagul et al. posed two open problems dealing with inequalities involving trigonometric and hyperbolic functions and an adjustable parameter. This article is an attempt to solve these open problems.

Geochemistry and Geochronology of Magmatic Rocks in Southwestern and Northeastern Cambodia: Implications for the Tectonic Evolution and Metallogenesis of the Loei Fold Belt

open access: yesGeological Journal, EarlyView.
The composition of intrusive rocks suggests that the magma was likely generated in a subduction‐related setting. The arc crustal thickness in the Phnom Sro Ngam and Halo Prospects was probably < 40 km during emplacement. Zircon U–Pb age range indicates a correlation with Loei Fold Belt magmatic activity.

Tectono‐Sedimentary Evolution of the Neogene İnegöl Basin (NW Anatolia): Constraints on Transtensional Basin Development at the Junction of the Western Anatolian Extensional Province and the North Anatolian Fault Zone

open access: yesGeological Journal, EarlyView.
The study outlines the tectono‐sedimentary evolution of the İnegöl Basin in north‐western Anatolia. Basin formation was controlled by interacting extensional and strike‐slip fault systems linked to uplift of the Uludağ Massif. Terrestrial sedimentation from the Miocene to Pleistocene is reconstructed using abundant fossil mammal assemblages that ...

Dem Local Accuracy Patterns in Land-Use/Land-Cover Classification

open access: yesOpen Geosciences, 2016
Global and nation-wide DEM do not preserve the same height accuracy throughout the area of study. Instead of assuming a single RMSE value for the whole area, this study proposes a vario-model that divides the area into sub-regions depending on the land ...
