Phase control system for SSRF linac

Nuclear Science and Techniques/Hewuli, 2008
The design of phase control system in Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) linac is presented in this paper. And digital phase detecting algorithm, the key for phase control system, is fully described. The testing results for phase control system in 100MeV linac are discussed in detail.

Investigation of fast ion instability in SSRF

Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research, Section A: Accelerators, Spectrometers, Detectors and Associated Equipment, 2010
The Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) is a new third generation storage ring based light source located at Zhangjiang High-Tech Park Shanghai China. The storage ring started commissioning in December 2007. During early commissioning, the fast ion instability (FII) was observed when multi-bunches were injected, which was strongly dependent ...

SSRF Beamline Control System

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2010
There are seven beamlines in the Phase‐I of SSRF. Five of them are equipped with Insertion Devices, while two with Bending Magnets. The beamline control system is based on the standard hardware and software architecture. The VME(PowerPC) with VxWorks is used for motion control, while the personal computers with Scientific Linux are the front end ...

SSRF Phase-I Insertion Devices

IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity, 2010
Shanghai Light Source (SSRF) is a third generation synchrotron radiation facility with the intermediate energy of 3.5 GeV. Two wigglers W80 and W140, one elliptically polarizing undulator EPU100 of the APPLE-II type with 4.3 meters long and two in-vacuum undulators IVU25-1,2 with 2 meters long have been built in the phase-I of SSRF project.
