3D transparent technology displays the developmental patterns of ductus arteriosus morphology in chicken embryos before and after birth

open access: yesJournal of Anatomy, EarlyView.
At the eighth week of human embryonic development, 3D transparent imaging enables clear visualization of the outflow tract's morphological features, revealing its anatomical components in detail. Abstract The ductus arteriosus (DA) is a critical fetal vascular structure that shunts blood from the pulmonary artery to the aorta, bypassing the non ...

Ultrasound-assisted synthesis of strontium-bismuth titanate and its application in environmental remediation

open access: yesUltrasonics Sonochemistry
The pollution of water and air in our world has become a global challenge that requires innovative and sustainable strategies. In this work, the ultrasound-assisted synthesis of bare strontium titanate (STO) and bismuth-doped STO (Bi-STO) is proposed to ...

Tunable self‐powered n‐SrTiO3 photodetectors based on varying CuS‐ZnS nanocomposite film (p‐CuZnS, p‐CuS, and n‐ZnS)

open access: yesInfoMat, 2019
The heterojunction photodetector between n‐SrTiO3 (n‐STO) and p‐CuS‐ZnS (p‐CZS) is prepared by a simple chemical bath deposition. The p‐CZS/n‐STO photodetector exhibits excellent self‐powered characteristics under 390‐nm light illumination, including ...

Corporate ESG Profiles and Investor Horizons

open access: yesThe Journal of Finance, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We find that long‐term institutional investors tilt their portfolios toward firms with better Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) profiles, in the cross sections of both institutional investor portfolios and the ownership of firms. We test whether several theoretically motivated mechanisms can explain this relationship.

Polymer‐Crosslinking System‐Filler Interactions in Polychloroprene Adhesives: Experimental and Molecular Modeling Insights

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 143, Issue 12, March 20, 2026.
The use of polychloroprene is common in elastomeric adhesives. This study highlights the possible substitution of zinc oxide curing systems to a less hazardous metal complex, also evaluating the changes that higher surface area fillers can bring to the adhesive.

Application of the Single Source—Detector Separation Algorithm in Wearable Neuroimaging Devices: A Step toward Miniaturized Biosensor for Hypoxia Detection

open access: yesBioengineering
Most currently available wearable devices to noninvasively detect hypoxia use the spatially resolved spectroscopy (SRS) method to calculate cerebral tissue oxygen saturation (StO2).

Synthesis and Characterization of a Cerium(IV) Coordination Polymer Containing Isonicotinic Acid Zwitterions

open access: yesZeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, Volume 652, Issue 4, 17 March 2026.
The new coordination polymer [Ce4O2(OH)2(NO3)2(C6H5NO2)8](NO3)8 is reported. It was discovered during a ligand screening experiment. Its crystallization was studied in situ via powder X‐ray diffraction and X‐ray absorption near‐edge structure spectroscopy.

Pflanzenvergiftungen — psychiatrische Aspekte [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018

Coherent Destruction of Photon Emission from a Single Molecule Source

open access: yes, 2004
The behavior of a single molecule driven simultaneously by a laser and by an electric radio frequency field is investigated using a non-Hermitian Hamiltonian approach. Employing the renormalization group method for differential equations we calculate the

DFTB Parametrization at the Example of Platinum—Implementation, Validation and Practical Considerations

open access: yesJournal of Computational Chemistry, Volume 47, Issue 7, March 15, 2026.
Development and comprehensive validation of 3ob‐compatible DFTB3 parameters for platinum, enabling efficient and reliable simulations of a wide range of Pt‐containing systems. ABSTRACT Practical considerations for the parametrization of the transition metal platinum within the third‐order density‐functional tight‐binding (DFTB3) method are presented ...
