Particle stabilised emulsions studied by WETSEM technique
We have developed a new simple method to study the interfacial structure of particle stabilised emulsions in situ by wet scanning electron microscopy (WETSEM) technique for the first time.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Development of stabilised soils for construction applications
Lateritic soils from Papua New Guinea were stabilised with various percentages of rice husk ash (RHA), finely ground natural lime, cement and their combinations. The influence of stabilisers and their combinations was evaluated through Atterberg limits,

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

Effect of phosphogypsum on strength of lime stabilized expansive soil
The use of phosphogypsum as an additive to lime, to enhance its performance in soil stabilization, is analysed in this paper. The phosphogypsum is a by-product of the phosphate rock processing during production of phosphoric acid.
