Study of the solubility of xonotlite

open access: yesce/papers, Volume 6, Issue 2, Page 238-245, September 2023., 2023
Abstract Xonotlite (Ca6Si6O17(OH)2) is a hydrated crystalline calcium silicate with CaO/SiO2 = 1, which forms under hy‐drothermal conditions at temperature above ∼100°C. It has good thermal stability, it dehydrates to wollastonite only at 770 to 800°C and shows a good resistance to high pressures.

On internal constraints in continuum mechanics

open access: yesInternational Journal of Differential Equations, Volume 2006, Issue 1, 2006., 2006
In classical particle mechanics, it is well understood that while working with nonholonomic and nonideal constraints, one cannot expect that the constraint be workless. It is curious that in continuum mechanics, however, the implications of the result in classical mechanics have not been clearly understood.

First Isolation of Yersinia enterocolitica From a Sea Turtle: A Case Report in Caretta caretta

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 3, May 2026.
1. First isolation of Yersinia enterocolitica, a zoonotic bacterium, in a loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta), identifying it as the likely cause of severe colitis, hepatitis, and fatal sepsis. 2. The findings highlight that sea turtles and the marine environment can act as reservoirs for Y. enterocolitica: this poses a “One Health” threat. 3.

Nonparametric Detection of a Time‐Varying Mean

open access: yesJournal of Time Series Analysis, Volume 47, Issue 3, Page 597-611, May 2026.
ABSTRACT We propose a nonparametric portmanteau test for detecting changes in the unconditional mean of a univariate time series which may display either long or short memory. Our approach is designed to have power against, among other things, cases where the mean component of the series displays abrupt level shifts, deterministic trending behaviour ...

An over time comparison of linear and spatial regression model parameters to predict average housing values: Evidence from two Canadian cities

open access: yesCanadian Geographer / Le géographe canadien, Volume 69, Issue 4, Winter / hiver 2025.
Abstract Residential real estate models are a key component of planning support systems, which aid in shaping future urban land use and transportation. These models typically rely on parameters estimated from historical data corresponding to a specific base year, assuming that such parameters remain stable over time.

Susceptibility of Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis to selected antimicrobial agents

open access: yesFood Risk Assess Europe, Volume 2, Issue 2, April 2024.
Abstract Caseous lymphadenitis is a chronic disease that affects small ruminant farms worldwide and causes economic losses to breeders.
