Stability conditions and Lagrangian cobordisms [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Symplectic Geometry, 2020
In this paper we study the interplay between Lagrangian cobordisms and stability conditions. We show that any stability condition on the derived Fukaya category $D\mathcal{F}uk(M)$ of a symplectic manifold $(M, )$ induces a stability condition on the derived Fukaya category of Lagrangian cobordisms $D\mathcal{F}uk(\mathbb{C} \times M)$.

Mathematical Formulation of the No-Go Theorem in Horndeski Theory

open access: yesUniverse, 2019
We present a brief mathematical-like formulation of the no-go theorem, useful for bouncing and wormhole solutions in Horndeski theory. The no-go theorem is almost identical in the cases of flat FLRW geometry and static, spherically symmetric setting ...

Stability of high-entropy alloys under electrocatalytic conditions

open access: yesiScience, 2023
Summary: High-entropy alloys are claimed to possess superior stability due to thermodynamic contributions. However, this statement mostly lies on a hypothetical basis.

Inducing stability conditions

open access: yesJournal of Algebraic Geometry, 2009
We study stability conditions induced by functors between triangulated categories. Given a finite group acting on a smooth projective variety, we prove that the subset of invariant stability conditions embeds as a closed submanifold into the stability manifold of the equivariant derived category.

Bridgeland stability conditions on surfaces with curves of negative self-intersection [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in Geometry, 2017
Let X be a smooth complex projective variety. In 2002, Bridgeland [6] defined a notion of stability for the objects in 𝔇b(X), the bounded derived category of coherent sheaves on X, which generalised the notion of slope stability for vector bundles on ...

Improving foam stability and lautering conditions

open access: yesKvasný průmysl, 2020
How to increase foam stability without adding foam stabilizers? As we published earlier, there was more than a sufficient amount of foam stabilizing substances in beer, but these must not be pushed out of the beer surface by foam negative substances ...

Stability conditions on product threefolds of projective spaces and Abelian varieties [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper, we prove the original Bogomolov–Gieseker type inequality conjecture for P1×S,P2×C and P1×P1×C , where S is an Abelian surface and C is an elliptic curve. In particular, there exist Bridgeland stability conditions on these threefolds.

Stability Conditions on An-Singularities

open access: yesJournal of Differential Geometry, 2010
We study the spaces of locally-finite stability conditions on the derived categories of coherent sheaves on the minimal resolutions of $A_n$-singularities supported at the exceptional sets. Our main theorem is that they are connected and simply-connected. The proof is based on the study of spherical objects in math.AG/0409151 and the homological mirror
