Cryptochrome and PAS/LOV proteins play intricate roles in circadian clocks where they act as both sensors and mediators of protein–protein interactions. Their ubiquitous presence in signaling networks has positioned them as targets for small‐molecule therapeutics. This review provides a structural introduction to these protein families.

Hyers–Ulam stability of non-autonomous and nonsingular delay difference equations
In this paper, we study the uniqueness and existence of the solution of a non-autonomous and nonsingular delay difference equation using the well-known principle of contraction from fixed point theory.

Communication between cells is realized by exchange of biochemical substances. Due to internal organization of living systems and variability of external parameters, the exchange is heavily influenced by perturbations of various parameters at almost all ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Stability Analysis of a Class of Higher Order Difference Equations
We consider the sufficient conditions for asymptotic stability and instability of certain higher order nonlinear difference equations with infinite delays in finite-dimensional spaces.

On the Stability of Volterra Difference Equations of Convolution Type
In \cite{Elaydi-10}, S.\ Elaydi obtained a characterization of the stability of the null solution of the Volterra difference equation \beqae x_n=\sum_{i=0}^{n-1} a_{n-i} x_i\textrm{,}\quad n\geq 1\textrm{,} \eeqae by localizing the roots of its ...

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Difference inequality for stability of impulsive difference equations with distributed delays
In this paper, we consider a class of impulsive difference equations with distributed delays. By establishing an impulsive delay difference inequality and using the properties of "ρ-cone" and eigenspace of the spectral radius of non-negative ...

On the global stability of some k-order difference equations [PDF]
We use two different techniques, one of them including fixed point tools, i.e., the Prešić type fixed point theorem, in order to study the asymptotic stability of some k-order difference equations for k = 1 and k = 2. In this way, we can study the global

Exponential Stability of Difference Equations with Several Delays: Recursive Approach
We obtain new explicit exponential stability results for difference equations with several variable delays and variable coefficients. Several known results, such as Clark's asymptotic stability criterion, are generalized and extended to a new class ...
