In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Stabilization of Discrete-Time Control Systems with Multiple State Delays
We give sufficient conditions for the exponential stabilizability of a class of perturbed time-varying difference equations with multiple delays and slowly varying coefficients. Under appropiate growth conditions on the perturbations, combined with the "

A complementary computational approach is proposed for the time-varying Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy model system (TVTSFMS). The proposed approach integrates orthogonal-functional approach (OFA), hybrid Taguchi genetic algorithm (HTGA), and a stabilizability ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Stability, stabilizability and exact controllability of a class of linear neutral type systems [PDF]
Linear systems of neutral type are considered using the infinite dimensional approach. The main problems are asymptotic, non-exponential stability, exact controllability and regular asymptotic stabilizability.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Stabilizability of fractional dynamical systems
In this paper, we establish that the controllability and observability properties of fractional dynamical systems in a finite dimensional space are dual.
