Feedback Stability of Negative Imaginary Systems [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 2017
This paper extends the robust feedback stability theorem of negative imaginary systems by removing restrictive assumptions on the instantaneous gains of the systems that were imposed in the earlier literature, and it further generalises this robust analysis result into the case that allows negative imaginary systems to have poles at the origin.

Uniform exponential stabilization of distributed bilinear parabolic time delay systems with bounded feedback control [PDF]

open access: yesArchives of Control Sciences, 2022
In this paper we deal with the problem of uniform exponential stabilization for a class of distributed bilinear parabolic systems with time delay in a Hilbert space by means of a bounded feedback control.

Incremental generalized homogeneity, observer design and semiglobal stabilization [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The notion of incremental generalized homogeneity is introduced, giving new results on semiglobal stabilization by output feedback and observer design and putting into a unifying framework the stabilization design for triangular (feedback/ feedforward)

Stabilization of a Class of Complex Chaotic Systems by the Dynamic Feedback Control

open access: yesComplexity, 2020
The stabilization problem of the complex chaotic system is investigated in this paper. First, a systematic method is proposed, by which a given complex chaotic system can be transformed into its equivalent real chaotic system.

Optimal Stabilization using Lyapunov Measures [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Numerical solutions for the optimal feedback stabilization of discrete time dynamical systems is the focus of this paper. Set-theoretic notion of almost everywhere stability introduced by the Lyapunov measure, weaker than conventional Lyapunov function ...

Separation Principle for Linear Sampled-Data Control Systems Under Observer-Based Output Feedback With Aperiodic Sampling

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
This paper studies a separation principle for a class of linear sampled-data control systems with aperiodic sampling. The concerned problem is to show that in aperiodic sampling, the design of observer-based output feedback controller can be broken into ...

Reduction of discrete-time two-channel delayed systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
In this letter, the reduction method is extended to time-delay systems affected by two mismatched input delays. To this end, the intrinsic feedback structure of the retarded dynamics is exploited to deduce a reduced dynamics which is free of delays ...

Global Stabilization for a Class of Genuinely Nonlinear Systems With a Time-Varying Power: An Interval Homogeneous Domination Approach

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
This paper addresses the problem of global state feedback stabilization for a class of genuinely nonlinear systems with a time-varying power. By revamping the so-called adding a power integrator technique and the homogeneous domination approach, a new ...

A Novel Approach to Fixed-Time Stabilization for a Class of Uncertain Second-Order Nonlinear Systems

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
This paper is concerned with the problem of fixed-time stabilization for a class of uncertain second-order nonlinear systems. By delicately introducing extra manipulations in the feedback domination and revamping the technique of adding a power ...
