A temperature-stabilized programmable operational amplifier for active-R filters

International Journal of Electronics, 1980
A monolithic operational amplifier circuit, has been designed whose gain and bandwidth are virtually independent of temperature. Defined accurately by ratios of external resistances, the gain and 3 dB cutoff frequency are controllable from 40 dB to l00 dB and 15 Hz. to 1 kHz respectively.

Stabilized Semiconductor Optical Frequency Comb with Programmable Intracavity Dispersion Compensation

Frontiers in Optics 2014, 2014
We demonstrate a mode-locked semiconductor laser producing a stabilized frequency comb. An intracavity spectral processor allows for programmable spectral phase adjustment for maximum bandwidth while maintaining a Pound-Drever-Hall lock to an intracavity Fabry-Perot etalon.

Evaluation of alternative grain stabilization programmes for Nigerian food security

Agricultural Administration and Extension, 1988
Abstract Annual fluctuations in Nigerian grain supplies are large and uncertain. The amelioration of these fluctuations through reserve programmes to achieve reasonable stability is technically feasible. This paper analyses the effectiveness of two alternative grain reserve programmes in meeting specific stabilization goals in Nigeria.

Modelling Rectifier Loads for a Multi-Machine Transient-Stability Programme

IEEE Transactions on Power Apparatus and Systems, 1980
An improved rectifier load model for use in transient-stability studies is developed. The model, which simulates abnormal modes of operation and the dynamics of the d.c. load, is used to investigate the stability of a power-system where the rectifier can represent a large percentage of load.

Programmable and electrically controllable light scattering from surface-polymer stabilized liquid crystals

Journal of the Optical Society of America A, 2012
We report the creation and study of a polarization independent light scattering material system based on surface-polymer stabilized liquid crystals. Originally isotropic cell substrates with thin nonpolymerized reactive mesogen layers are used for the alignment of pure nonreactive nematic liquid crystals. The partial interdiffusion of the two materials

FoxM1 is required for execution of the mitotic programme and chromosome stability

Nature Cell Biology, 2005
Transcriptional induction of cell-cycle regulatory proteins ensures proper timing of subsequent cell-cycle events. Here we show that the Forkhead transcription factor FoxM1 regulates expression of many G2-specific genes and is essential for chromosome stability.

Note: Low phase noise programmable phase-locked loop with high temperature stability

Review of Scientific Instruments, 2017
The design and construction of low jitter programmable phase-locked loop with low temperature coefficient of phase are presented. It has been designed for demanding high precision timing applications, especially as a clock source for event timer with subpicosecond precision. The phase-locked loop itself has a jitter of few hundreds of femtoseconds.

Programmable frequency reference for laser stabilization using persistent spectral hole burning

Technical Digest. Summaries of papers presented at the Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics. Postconference Edition. CLEO '99. Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics (IEEE Cat. No.99CH37013), 2003
Summary form only given. The first known demonstration of laser frequency stabilization using a solid-state persistent spectral hole burning material as the frequency reference is reported. Unlike gas phase transitions or Fabry-Perot resonances, spectral holes for frequency references can be prepared at any frequency within a broad inhomogeneous ...

A rapid stabilization cognitive group therapy programme for psychiatric inpatients

Clinical Psychology & Psychotherapy, 1994
AbstractThis paper describes a programme for inpatients with severe personality disorders as well as acute exacerbation of Axis II pathology. The goal of the programme was to quickly stabilize participants with respect to self‐injurious behaviour and return them to the community.
