Difference by instructional set in stabilometry
Journal of Vestibular Research, 2000There is no standard for the awareness of standing posture in stabilometry, yet little research addressing the matter has been carried out. In the present study, we evaluated the influence of different instructional sets during a test on stabilometry. Stabilometry was performed on 349 male subjects.

Stabilometry in otitis media secretoria
International Congress Series, 2003Abstract Twenty-five children with unilateral or bilateral otitis media secretoria were tested. Freyss' stabilometer with movable platform and head movement detector was used. The maximal and average amplitude of the platform and average velocity of the platform, and of the head were appreciated.

Comparative Analysis of Methods for Evaluation of Stabilometry Parameters
Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 2011Cluster analysis of stabilometry results in 251 subjects (129 men and 122 women, age 20-60 years) was carried out. Four methods were used in the study: European stabilometry variant, Romberg test (European variant), Romberg's test (American variant), and Romberg's test (American Universal variant).

Evaluation of patients with dizziness and normal electronystagmography using stabilometry
The causes of dizziness are difficult to be diagnosed. At present we have a variety of tests and exams but none of them can adequately evaluate the vestibular function. The most commonly used tests are electronystagmography and posturography. The objective of this study was to analyze the results of stabilometry in patients with complaints of dizziness ...

Computerized stabilometry in the diagnosis of craniomandibular disorders

Static stabilometry and repeated testing in a normal population.
Aviation, space, and environmental medicine, 2001The purpose of the present study was to see if there is a learning effect of repeated static stabilometric testing, using a protocol suitable for testing postural control in narrow spaces, like hypo- and hyperbaric chambers.Static stabilometry testing under normobaric conditions is objective and reproducible.
