Factors affecting stabilometry recordings of single limb stance

Stabilometry is an objective method for the quantitative study of postural equilibrium and has previously been shown to correlate to functional instability of the ankle joint. Stabilometric recordings of 25 soccer players did not confirm existing theories that an ankle joint injury itself produces a functional instability.
