A Globally Stable Price Adjustment Process
Econometrica, 1990It is well-known that Walras' tâtonnement may fail to converge to an equilibrium unless an additional assumption, such as the gross substitutes condition, is made. The purpose of this paper is to present a differential equation which, under quite general conditions, converges to an equilibrium unless the initial price vector belongs to a set of measure

Markov symmetric stable processes
Radiophysics and Quantum Electronics, 2000Using the method of generative processes, we construct a model of a random linear symmetric stable Markov process, which is a natural generalization of the Markov Gaussian process and preserves its main property: invariance with respect to arbitrary linear transformations. Methods for analyzing such processes are developed.

One says that \(t>0\) is an increase time for the path \(\omega\) of a real- valued process if \(\omega\) is below level \(\omega (t)\) immediately before time \(t\) and above this level immediately after time \(t\). According to a celebrated result of Dvoretzky, Erdős and Kakutani, almost every Brownian path has no increase times.

Environmental problems such as floods require statistical analysis that takes into account the complex nature of the data, namely observations are sampled at different spatial points in a given region for a certain time. Thus the spatial dependence structure cannot be ignored.
