In the process of water‐soluble cavern construction of salt cavern energy storage, since the interlayer does not dissolve in water easily, sudden collapse will cause engineering accidents such as bending and damage of the inner tube of the cavern.

An optimizing microseismic method for rock burst early warning based on mining production process
A classification early warning method of rock burst based on hourly microseismic data is proposed, which can be combined with the on‐site production process to provide more timely warning. Abstract Microseismic (MS) events have been reported in nearly every coal mining country, which could well lead to rock burst in underground coal mines.

Zebrafish inversin mutants develop scoliosis in the absence of laterality defects
Abstract Background Human mutations in INVERSIN are associated with nephronophthisis, variable penetrance of situs inversus and congenital heart disease. Inversin has been shown to localize to cilia and many of the patient phenotypes are attributed to disrupted cilia function.

This study on close coal seams shows that multi‐seam mining increases the height of the fractured zone from approximately 26 m (single upper‐seam mining) to about 49 m. When the lower seam is mined after the extraction of the upper seam, the heights of both the caved zone and the fractured zone increase by approximately two times.

Whole‐House Thermal Bridge Modelling for Accurate Retrofit Energy Prediction
This study models thermal bridging in a UK semi‐detached house across pre‐ and post‐retrofit scenarios using piecemeal and whole‐house approaches with EWI and IWI. Whole‐house retrofits reduce heat transfer coefficient by 60%; findings demonstrate that default values are often unrepresentative and advocate tailored Ψ value databases.

ABSTRACT Background Although a complexity theory lens can help to understand national policy implementation at a local government level, application of this lens often remains at a metaphorical level. We illustrate how complexity concepts, such as adaptation, feedback, emergence and co‐evolution can be used practically in research on policy ...

A chromosomal-level genome assembly of Serrognathus titanus Boisduval, 1835 (Coleoptera: Lucanidae)
The Stag beetle (Coleoptera: Lucanidae) is a fascinating group, often considered one of the most primitive within the Scarabaeoidea. They are valuable models for studying beetle evolution.
