Correlation of the Eemian (interglacial) Stage and the deep-sea oxygen-isotope stratigraphy
Nature, 1979A complete interglacial sequence in coastal marine sediments in western Norway is correlated with the Eemian Stage by means of pollen stratigraphy, and with deep-sea cores by means of marine fossils. The Eemian is correlated with isotope stage 5e.
