Three-Dimensional Unsteady Stagnation-Point Flow and Heat Transfer Impinging Obliquely on a Flat Plate with Transpiration

open access: yesJournal of Applied Fluid Mechanics, 2016
In this study, an exact solution of the Navier-Stokes and energy equations is obtained for the problem of unsteady three-dimensional stagnation point flow and heat transfer of viscous, incompressible fluid on a flat plate.

FastCat: Autonomous Discovery of Multielement Layered Double Hydroxide Alloy Catalysts for Alkaline Oxygen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
A machine learning‐guided self‐driving laboratory screened over 500 nickel‐based layered double‐hydroxide catalysts for alkaline oxygen evolution. Out of the eight metals, the robot uncovered a quaternary Ni–Fe–Cr–Co catalysts requiring only 231 mV overpotential to reach 20 mA cm−2.

Unsteady Reversed Stagnation-Point Flow over a Flat Plate

open access: yes, 2012
This paper investigates the nature of the development of two-dimensional laminar flow of an incompressible fluid at the reversed stagnation-point. ". In this study, we revisit the problem of reversed stagnation-point flow over a flat plate.

Analysis of stagnation point flow of an upper-convected Maxwell fluid

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2017
Several recent papers have investigated the two-dimensional stagnation point flow of an upper-convected Maxwell fluid by employing a similarity change of variable to reduce the governing PDEs to a nonlinear third order ODE boundary value problem (BVP)

Mixed convection flow and heat-mass transfer of cross liquid near a stagnation region with Dufour, Soret effects and chemical reaction

open access: yesCase Studies in Thermal Engineering
Heat-mass transfer in a liquid flow over a stretching surface at a stagnation regime is significant in optimal manufacturing and quality assurance depending on the rheological behavior of viscoelastic fluids in process machinery. Stretching sheet flow at

Stagnation-Point Flow towards a Stretching Vertical Sheet with Slip Effects

open access: yesMathematics, 2016
The effects of partial slip on stagnation-point flow and heat transfer due to a stretching vertical sheet is investigated. Using a similarity transformation, the governing partial differential equations are reduced into a system of nonlinear ordinary ...

A Unifying Approach to Self‐Organizing Systems Interacting via Conservation Laws

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
The article develops a unified way to model and analyze self‐organizing systems whose interactions are constrained by conservation laws. It represents physical/biological/engineered networks as graphs and builds projection operators (from incidence/cycle structure) that enforce those constraints and decompose network variables into constrained versus ...

Sound‐Based Assembly of Magnetically Actuated Soft Robots Toward Enhanced Release of Extracellular Vesicles

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2025.
Magnetic soft robots offer promise in biomedicine due to their wireless actuation and rapid response, but current fabrication methods are complex and have limited cellular compatibility. A new, contactless bioassembly strategy using hydrodynamic instabilities is introduced, enabling customizable, centimeter‐scale robots.
