This work paves the way for practical photoelectrochemical water splitting devices by addressing key upscaling challenges related to substrate conductivity, absorber inhomogeneity, and mass transfer limitations. Integrated improvements in substrate engineering, material processing, device architecture, and operational conditions allow the development ...

Thermal solar systems are interesting solutions to reduce CO 2 emissions and gradually promote the use of renewable sources. However, sizing such systems and analysing their behavior are still challenging issues, especially for the trade-off ...

Secular stagnation or stagnation policy? A post-Steindlian view* [PDF]
The current debate on secular stagnation is suffering from some vagueness and several other shortcomings. The same is true for the economic policy implications. Therefore, I provide an alternative view on stagnation tendencies based on Josef Steindl's contributions.

A Perspective on Interactive Theorem Provers in Physics
Into an interactive theorem provers (ITPs), one can write mathematical definitions, theorems and proofs, and the correctness of those results is automatically checked. This perspective goes over the best usage of ITPs within physics and motivates the open‐source community run project PhysLean, the aim of which is to be a library for digitalized physics

Indian Manufacturing Productivity: What Caused the Growth Stagnation before the 1990s? [PDF]
This article addresses the question of why productivity growth in Indian manufacturing was slow in the pre-reform period and analyzes how economic reforms in the 1990s accelerated productivity growth.

Endothelial GPR68 is identified as a critical regulator of collateral artery growth in peripheral artery disease. Genetic and pharmacological evidence demonstrates that GPR68 integrates hemodynamic cues to drive monocyte recruitment and inflammatory remodeling, thereby promoting collateral arteriogenesis and tissue perfusion after ischemia ...

In their introduction, the authors state, ``We study an oddity: the class of problems for which the generalized minimal residual (GMRES) algorithm, when started with the initial guess \(x^{(0)}=0\) and using exact arithmetic, computes \(m\) iterates \(x^{(1)}=\cdots=x^{(m)}=0\) without making any progress at all.

Optimal Grazing Exclusion Duration to Enhance Soil Carbon Sequestration in Degraded Grasslands
Across China, grazing exclusion reaches the national mean soil organic carbon recovery benchmark sooner in high‐MAP regions (> 500 mm), but recovery is much slower where MAP < 300 mm. Scaling this strategy to 70% of China's degraded grasslands would sequester about 1.52 Pg of soil carbon over 10 years—roughly 17% of annual global fossil‐fuel emissions.
