Diallyl Trisulfide From Garlic Regulates RAB18 Phase Separation to Inhibit Lipophagy and Induce Cuproptosis in Hepatic Stellate Cells for Antifibrotic Effects

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Diallyl trisulfides (DATs) selectively induce cuproptosis in hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) by targeting Ras‐related protein Rab‐18 (RAB18) and regulating lipophagy. DATs promote RAB18 phase separation, enhance mitochondrial‐associated membrane structures (MAMs) formation, and increase succinylation of dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase (DLD) at K320.

Flow Field in the Turbine Rotor Passage in an Automotive Torque Converter Based on the High Frequency Response Rotating Five-hole Probe Measurement Part I: Flow Field at the Design Condition (Speed Ratio 0.6)

open access: yesInternational Journal of Rotating Machinery, 2001
The relative flow field in an automotive torque converter turbine was measured at three locations inside the passage (turbine 1/4 chord, mid-chord, and 4/4 chord) using a highfrequency response rotating five-hole-probe.

Tailored 3D Lattice Microstructures for Enhanced Functionality in Blood‐Gas Exchange

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Common hollow fiber structures are associated with inhomogeneous flow, leading to many complications in the medical application of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. Using locally adapted lattice structures, the overall flow distribution can be manipulated.

Intense pulsed helium droplet beams [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Pulsed (30 - 100 microseconds) nozzle beams have been used to generate helium droplets ( = 10^4-10^5). The dependence of the beam intensity and the mean droplet size on the source stagnation pressure and temperature are studied via mass spectroscopy and laser induced fluorescence of embedded phthalocyanine molecules.

Superlattice Engineering on 2D Bi2Te3‐Sb2Te3 Chalcogenides

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents an innovative approach to fabricating 2D Bi2Te3‐Sb2Te3 chalcogenide superlattices in wrapped, lateral, and vertical configurations. Utilizing a novel precursor switching method, chemical vapor deposition, and post‐growth techniques, the research achieves controlled superlattices with sharp interfaces.

Bifunctional Mesoporous MO x (M = Cr, Fe, Co, Ni, Ce) Oxygen Electrocatalysts for Platinum Group Metal‐Free Oxygen Pumps

open access: yesEnergy Technology, Volume 10, Issue 12, December 2022., 2022
The family of high‐quality crystalline mesoporous MOx synthesized via soft‐templated hydrothermal synthesis is investigated in oxygen reduction reaction and oxygen evolution reaction electrocatalysis. Using developed NiO, the symmetrical platinum group metal‐free oxygen pump is elaborated for the first time.
