Graph Neural Network‐Based Prediction of Building Energy Consumption
A graph neural network that encodes a multi‐zone building as a graph accurately predicts hourly cooling and heating loads across three distinct climates, outperforming Random Forest and XGBoost baselines and serving as a fast surrogate to EnergyPlus simulations for scalable building energy management.

Sleeping with pleasant odours was associated with improved cued odour identification, particularly in the sandalwood group. Subjective night‐time awakenings showed a descriptive decrease. EEG data did not reveal robust changes in sleep architecture, though exploratory analyses suggested potential benefits for individuals with poorer baseline sleep ...

Water Properties and Diffusive Convection in the Canada Basin
The aim of this study is to better understand diffusive convection (DC) and its role in the upper ocean dynamic environment and sea ice melting in the Canada Basin. Based on a moored dataset with 6737 profiles collected from August 2003 to August 2011 in

Room‐temperature macroscopic observation of single‐electron quantum states
Abstract Single‐electron quantum states are confined to cryogenic observation, since miniaturization amplifies fringing capacitance that masks charge quantization. Liu et al. address this with a 2D coplanar architecture suppressing fringing capacitance, achieving a non‐volatile ~0.5 V threshold shift per electron at room temperature, an order of ...

ABSTRACT Biochemistry forms the foundation for understanding biomolecules and molecular processes crucial to dental and oral biology. However, it is often perceived as a challenging subject for dental students with diverse educational backgrounds. Analogies are a pedagogical tool that helps explain new and abstract concepts in biochemistry.

Sensor Arrays With Integrated Track and Hold Circuits Manufactured on Glass
The integration of track and hold circuits into current or light sensor arrays based on thin‐film devices on glass allows the recording of all sensing elements at the same time. This enables the recording of dynamic situations, overcoming the disadvantage of low bandwidths or low photosensor response times.

Abstract Ecosystem retrogression drives nutrient depletion, reduced productivity, and profound reorganization of soil microbial communities. Using amplicon sequencing and genome‐resolved metagenomics, we examined how cross‐domain microbial networks and functional gene potential respond to long‐term phosphorus and nitrogen limitation along the well ...

ABSTRACT Introduction/Aims Oculopharyngeal muscular dystrophy (OPMD) is a neuromuscular disease presenting with dysphagia, ptosis, and proximal weakness. Muscle strength and indoor mobility capacity have rarely been studied using standardized clinical outcome assessments (COAs). The objectives of this study were to (1) document muscle strength, balance,
