Chaotic and fractal maps in higher-order derivative dynamical systems

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics
Hamiltonian maps are considered a class of dynamical systems that hold meticulous properties used to model a large number of complex dynamical systems.

Development of a Recombinase Polymerase Amplification Assay for Rapid Detection of the Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2016
The detection of Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis (MAP) infections in ruminants is crucial to control spread among animals and to humans. Cultivation of MAP is seen as the gold standard for detection, although it is very time consuming and ...

Security Management Standards: A Mapping

open access: yesProcedia Computer Science, 2016
AbstractAdjustment and cost-effectiveness are key elements of a successful Information Security Management System (ISMS). ISMS-Processes, as basic elements of every ISMS, need to be aligned to the organization and its mission. As of today, a specific ISMS process framework does not exist. ISMS processes are not in focus of current research.

Bryuno Function and the Standard Map [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Mathematical Physics, 2001
For the standard map the homotopically non-trivial invariant curves of rotation number satisfying the Bryuno condition are shown to be analytic in the perturbative parameter, provided the latter is small enough. The radius of convergence of the Lindstedt series -- sometimes called critical function of the standard map -- is studied and the relation ...

Specifications of Cartographic Symbols for Indonesian Tactile Map

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Geography, 2019
Visual impairment people require a means of information transfer which different from normal people, it needs to be touched or amplified by audio, including maps that apprise them of the objects and events occurring on Earth.

On Stochastic Sea of the Standard Map [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Mathematical Physics, 2011
Consider a generic one-parameter unfolding of a homoclinic tangency of an area preserving surface diffeomorphism. We show that for many parameters (residual subset in an open set approaching the critical value) the corresponding diffeomorphism has a transitive invariant set $Ω$ of full Hausdorff dimension.

SOME REMARKS ON THE GEOMETRY OF THE STANDARD MAP [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2009
We define and compute hyperbolic coordinates and associated foliations which provide a new way to describe the geometry of the standard map. We also identify a uniformly hyperbolic region and a complementary "critical" region containing a smooth curve of tangencies between certain canonical "stable" foliations.

Assessment of Groundwater Vulnerability Using Lulc Map and DRASTIC Technique in Bahr AL-Najaf Area, Middle of Iraq

open access: yesTikrit Journal of Engineering Sciences, 2019
Groundwater is the greatest significant source of water in the Bahr Al-Najaf area. In this research the DRASTIC technique has been utilized, to produce a map of ground water vulnerability for the area.
