Evaluation of GPS Standard Point Positioning with Various Ionospheric Error Mitigation Techniques
Journal of Applied Geodesy, 2016AbstractThe present paper investigates accuracy of single and dual-frequency Global Positioning System (GPS) standard point positioning solutions employing different ionosphere error mitigation techniques. The total electron content (TEC) in the ionosphere is the prominent delay error source in GPS positioning, and its elimination is essential for ...

Invariant standard positions of ordered sets of points
1995The determination of invariant characteristics is an important problem in pattern recognition. Many invariants are known, which have been obtained either by normalization [Ar90, As94, Si94, Ro94, Vo95] or by other methods [Mu92, Re93, Fl93, We93]. This paper uses the method of normalization to derive invariants for ordered sets of points.

Low cost scintillation detectors as compared with HPGe detectors are considered to be one of most important radiation detection tools. Therefore, these detectors can be manufactured in different shapes and work at room temperature without any cooling systems, which added an extra advantage to it.

Stochastic Model of GPS/BD Combined Standard Single Point Positioning
2012Reasonable determination of weights is the key factor in giving full play to advantages of GPS/BD combined system. Generally, Helmert VCE (Variance Component Estimation) is employed aiming at adjusting the variance-ratio between the two heteroscedastic systems.

The fundamental criteria for measuring the near‐eye display eye‐point is evaluated in terms of its impact on the device performance. Several eye‐point determination techniques are used to illustrate how the various derived eye‐point locations affect primary display characteristics such as angular alignment, field of view, and center resolution.

Abstract Achieving high-precision positioning in complex environments remains a significant challenge for Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSSs). In such scenarios, obstacles including high-rise buildings, overpasses, mountains, and vegetation induce signal reflection and diffraction and can severely obstruct
