[001]‐oriented Sb2Se3 film with improved crystallinity and adjusted composition is achieved via a new thermal treatment approach consisting of preliminary annealing of the Sb layer before its selenization. The findings of this work demonstrate enhanced charge carriers' transportation, a stable performance, and an improvement of H2 generation from ...

Controlled syntheses of lanthanide coordination polymers based on the dihydroxybenzoquinone (DHBQ) organic linker afforded large single crystals of Ln‐DHBQ CPs (Ln = Yb, Nd). A novel structural variant of Yb‐DHBQ is identified by means of single crystal diffraction analysis.

The observed deficit of $\rm ^8B$ solar neutrinos may call for an improved standard model of the sun or an expanded standard model of particle physics ({\it e.g.,} with neutrino masses and mixing).

Solar Model Uncertainties, MSW Analysis, and Future Solar Neutrino Experiments
Various theoretical uncertainties in the standard solar model and in the Mikheyev-Smirnov-Wolfenstein (MSW) analysis are discussed. It is shown that two methods of estimating the solar neutrino flux uncertainties are equivalent: (a) a simple ...

Alive and well: A short review about standard solar models [PDF]
Standard solar models (SSMs) provide a reference framework across a number of research fields: solar and stellar models, solar neutrinos, particle physics the most conspicuous among them. The accuracy of the physical description of the global properties of the Sun that SSMs provide has been challenged in the last decade by a number of developments in ...

Neutrino fluxes from CNO cycle in the Sun in the non stationary case with mixing
The computational analyses is presented of the non stationary case with mixing of the solar model when the neutrino flux $F_{13}$ from the decay of $^{13}N$ is higher than a standard solar model predictsComment: 6 pages ...

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

Estimate of solar radius from f-mode frequencies
Frequency and rotational splittings of the solar f-modes are estimated from the GONG data. Contrary to earlier observations the frequencies of f-modes are found to be close to the theoretically computed values for a standard solar model. The f-mode being
