A fully coupled opto-electro-thermal model to investigate silicon solar cells under real operating conditions

open access: yesEPJ Photovoltaics, 2022
In this work, a fully coupled opto-electro-thermal model for crystalline silicon solar cells is presented. Based on a detailed set of material properties, the developed model allows us to predict and analyse the solar cell behaviour under real operating ...

Standard solar model. II - g-modes

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal, 1992
The paper presents the g-mode oscillation for a set of modern solar models. Each solar model is based on a single modification or improvement to the physics of a reference solar model. Improvements were made to the nuclear reaction rates, the equation of state, the opacities, and the treatment of the atmosphere.

Dual‐Mode Film Based on Highly Scattering Nanofibers and Upcycled Chips‐Bags for Year‐Round Thermal Management

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Intelligent radiative cooling devices, adaptable to various weather conditions, have the potential for year‐round energy savings. This study introduces a sustainable dual‐mode film made from polycaprolactone nanofibers and upcycled chip bags for effective thermal management.

Updated constraints on non-standard interactions from global analysis of oscillation data

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We quantify our present knowledge of the size and flavor structure of non-standard neutrino interactions which affect the matter background in the evolution of solar, atmospheric, reactor and long-baseline accelerator neutrinos as determined by a global ...

Photovoltaic Solar Cells: A Review

open access: yesApplied System Innovation, 2022
Employing sunlight to produce electrical energy has been demonstrated to be one of the most promising solutions to the world’s energy crisis. The device to convert solar energy to electrical energy, a solar cell, must be reliable and cost-effective to ...

Solar Neutrino Matter Effects Redux

open access: yes, 2011
Following recent low-threshold analysis of the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory and asymmetry measurements of the BOREXINO Collaboration of the solar neutrino flux, we revisit the analysis of the matter effects in the Sun.

Updated determination of the solar neutrino fluxes from solar neutrino data [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We present an update of the determination of the solar neutrino fluxes from a global analysis of the solar and terrestrial neutrino data in the framework of three-neutrino mixing.

Intramolecular Down‐ and Up‐Conversion in Dimeric Tetracene Complexes Centered via Platinum(II) and Palladium(II)

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐tetracene dimeric complexes are synthesized through the pyridyl coordination to either Pt(II) or Pd(II). Photophysical properties are systematically compared as a function of the metal using steady‐state and time‐resolved spectroscopy. The Pt(II) dimer exhibits efficient intramolecular singlet fission and subsequent intramolecular up‐conversion ...

Non-Linear Analysis of Novel Equivalent Circuits of Single-Diode Solar Cell Models with Voltage-Dependent Resistance

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2023
The most commonly used model of solar cells is the single-diode model, with five unknown parameters. First, this paper proposes three variants of the single-diode model, which imply the voltage dependence of the series resistance, parallel resistance ...

Cu‐Based MOF/TiO2 Composite Nanomaterials for Photocatalytic Hydrogen Generation and the Role of Copper

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
HKUST‐1/TiO2 composite materials show a very high photocatalytic hydrogen evolution rate which increases as a function of the irradiation time until reaching a plateau and even surpasses the performance of the 1%Pt/TiO2 material after three photocatalytic cycles.
