Achieving High ON State Current through Ferroelectric Polarization‐Dependent Interfacial Resistance Switching in Undoped Orthorhombic HfO2 Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ferroelectric tunnel junction devices based on epitaxial undoped ferroelectric HfO2 films demonstrate stable switching endurance of over 106 switching cycles, low write voltages of ±3 V, 16 measured resistance states, and neuromorphic capability.

Requirements of UIC standards for brake triangles of railway vehicles

open access: yes, 2023
The brake triangles are among the most important parts in the braking system of railway vehicles. Given that their quality and reliability directly affect the safety of rail traffic, the requirements for their suppliers are very rigorous. In this sense, the production of brake triangles can only be entrusted to those suppliers who are able to provide ...

Electrode and Microstructure Dependence of Oxygen Diffusion in Ferroelectric Hafnium Zirconium Oxide Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Significant nanoscale oxygen diffusion coefficient variations are measured in ferroelectric hafnium zirconium oxide films with grain boundaries and electrode interfaces exhibiting values 104 times larger than the grain cores. Overall coefficients are 10X larger for films prepared with metal nitride electrodes compared to refractory metals. New insights

Best Constants between Equivalent Norms in Lorentz Sequence Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces and Applications, 2012
We find the best constants in inequalities relating the standard norm, the dual norm, and the norm ∥x∥(p,s):=inf⁡{∑k∥x(k)∥p,s}, where the infimum is taken over all finite representations x=∑kx(k) in the classical Lorentz sequence spaces.

Historical Foundation and Practical Guideline for Ferroelectric Switching Kinetic Studies

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The P and U pulses in the conventional PUND measurements are not identical because of the interplay between switching current and the measurement circuit components. This circuit effect can lead to a shift in polarization transients and misinterpreted physics in the switching kinetics.

Implantable Ionic Memristors Based on Natural Polymer Heterojunctions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report an implantable natural polymer‐based ionic memristor composed of hyaluronic acid, chitosan, and PDMS. The device achieved 98.94% accuracy in MNIST classification while reducing training time by 36.8% compared with a conventional artificial neural network (ANN).
