Records and Occupation Time Statistics for Area-Preserving Maps

open access: yesEntropy, 2023
A relevant problem in dynamics is to characterize how deterministic systems may exhibit features typically associated with stochastic processes. A widely studied example is the study of (normal or anomalous) transport properties for deterministic systems

Universal unitarity triangle and physics beyond the standard model [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2001
We make the simple observation that there exists a universal unitarity triangle for all models, like the SM, the Two Higgs Doublet Models I and II and the MSSM with minimal flavour violation, that do not have any new operators beyond those present in the SM and in which all flavour changing transitions are governed by the CKM matrix with no new phases ...

Improvement of triangle centroid localization algorithm based on PIT criterion (ITCL-PIT) for WSNs

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking, 2022
One of the most significant study directions is node positioning in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). Because the existing RSSI-based triangle centroid localization technique is susceptible to the surrounding environment, this paper proposes an improved ...

Variations of Cystic Artery Supplying the Gallbladder and its Surgical Importance: A Cadaveric Study from Tamil Nadu, India

open access: yesInternational Journal of Anatomy Radiology and Surgery, 2023
Introduction: Symptomatic cholelithiasis is usually treated by cholecystectomy. Cystic Artery (CA) should be ligated prior to removal of gallbladder during cholecystectomy.

Comments on gauge anomalies at dimension-six in the Standard Model Effective Field Theory

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We study whether higher-dimensional operators in effective field theories, in particular in the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT), can source gauge anomalies via the modification of the interactions involved in triangle diagrams.

Fast Plant Leaf Recognition Using Improved Multiscale Triangle Representation and KNN for Optimization

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Due to the complexity and similarity of plant leaves, it is very important to study an effective leaf-feature extraction method to improve the recognition rate of plant leaves.

Status of the Unitarity Triangle in the standard model.

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2008
We present the update of the Unitarity Triangle analysis in the Standard Model. Combining the direct measurements on sides and angles of the Unitarity Triangle, we determine the values of the CKM parameters (rho) over bar and (eta) over bar. This set of information provides a very poweful test of the Standard Model in the fermion sector.

Non-standard neutrino oscillations: perspective from unitarity triangles [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
Abstract We formulate an alternative approach based on unitarity triangles to describe neutrino oscillations in presence of non-standard interactions (NSI). Using perturbation theory, we derive the expression for the oscillation probability in case of NSI and cast it in terms of the three independent parameters of the leptonic ...
