Representationalism and the Spatial Representational Contents of Afterimage Experiences
ABSTRACT Experiences of afterimages have often been cited as counterexamples to representationalism about vision, that is, as counterexamples to the thesis that the phenomenal character of a visual experience is completely determined by its representational content. In this paper, I discuss a possible counterexample to representationalism that is based

Drought duration affects ant–plant interactions: extrafloral nectar quality initially increases and subsequently declines, and ant interaction patterns closely track these nectar dynamics. Abstract Mutualistic plants use non‐structural sugar (NSC) to produce carbon‐based resources to reward partners.

Description of four new species of marine macroalgae from Rangitāhua, New Zealand
ABSTRACT Four species of marine macroalgae are described from Rangitāhua, the northern islands of the New Zealand archipelago. The flora of this region has been considered to have its strongest affinities with other warm‐water regions of the Pacific and Indian Oceans, with very low levels of endemism.

The Painterly Materiality of Clouds in Antony and Cleopatra and Hamlet
Abstract This article examines the cloud‐gazing scenes in Antony and Cleopatra and Hamlet through the lens of early modern artistic theory and material practices, particularly the art of limning. Building upon existing philosophical and poetic interpretations of Shakespearean clouds as metaphors for ephemerality and memory, the essay argues that the ...

Abstract How can anthropologists ensure the accuracy of the statements they make in their publications, especially in an era of ever increasing budgetary and bureaucratic pressures that limit the duration of fieldwork? What should the role of language abilities be in this context and to what degree is it necessary to learn the language of the place ...

Stanley depth of powers of the path ideal
The aim of this paper is to give a formula for the Stanley depth of quotient of powers of the path ideal. As a consequence, we establish that the behaivior of the Stanley depth of quotient of powers of the path ideal is the same as a classical result of Brodmann on depth.

Stanley depth of monomial ideals in three variables
We show that $\depth(S/I)=0$ if and only if $\sdepth(S/I)=0$, where $I\subset S=K[x_1,...,x_n]$ is a monomial ideal. We give an algorithm to compute the Stanley depth of $S/I$, where $I\subset S=K[x_1,x_2,x_3]$ is a monomial ideal. Also, we prove that a monomial ideal $I\subset K[x_1,x_2,x_3]$ minimally generated by three monomials has $\sdepth(I)=2$.
