ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

ABSTRACT Background Oral mucositis is a common and debilitating side effect of childhood cancer and stem cell transplant treatments. It affects the quality of life of children and young people (CYP) and places a strain on services. Photobiomodulation is recommended for oral mucositis prevention in international guidance but is poorly implemented in UK ...

Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

Rho Meson Diffraction off Au Nuclei
The STAR Ultra Peripheral Collisions program has collected a substantial sample of $\rho$ mesons and for the first time at RHIC energies it has been able to extract the distribution of momentum transfer t from diffractive elastic scattering off the Au ...

Search for Conical Emission with Three-Particle Correlations [PDF]
We present preliminary STAR results on 3-particle azimuthal angle correlation studies in Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 200 GeV. The studies are carried out at mid-rapidity between a trigger particle with 3 $\le p_{\perp} \le$ 4 GeV/c and two ...

P-Stars are a new class of compact stars made of up and down quarks in β-equilibrium with electrons in an Abelian chromomagnetic condensate. We show that P-Stars are able to account for compact stars with R≲6 Km , as well as stars with radius comparable with canonical Neutron Stars.
