Probing the Faintest Stars in a Globular Star Cluster [PDF]
NGC 6397 is the second closest globular star cluster to the Sun. Using 5 days of time on the Hubble Space Telescope, we have constructed an ultradeep color-magnitude diagram for this cluster. We see a clear truncation in each of its two major stellar sequences.

Sub-clinical abnormalities detected by PET/MRI in household tuberculosis contacts
Background The understanding of early events following TB exposure is limited by traditional tests that rely on detection of an immune response to infection, which is delayed, or on imaging tests with low sensitivity for early disease.

Cluster formation versus star formation rates around six regions in the LMC [PDF]
The stellar population and star clusters around six regions in the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) are studied to understand the correlation between star formation and cluster formation rates.

The Star Formation History of the Milky Way’s Nuclear Star Cluster
We report the first star formation history study of the Milky Ways nuclear star cluster (NSC), which includes observational constraints from a large sample of stellar metallicity measurements.

Early dynamical evolution of star cluster systems [PDF]
Violent relaxation -- the protocluster dynamical response to the expulsion of its residual star forming gas -- is a short albeit crucial episode in the evolution of star clusters and star cluster systems. Because it is heavily driven by cluster formation

Molecular Gas Properties in Young Stellar Clusters with a Suppressed Star Cluster Wind
In compact and dense star-forming clouds a global star cluster wind could be suppressed. In this case stellar feedback is unable to expel the leftover gas from the cluster. Young massive stars remain embedded in a dense residual gas and stir it by moving

Discovery of a loose star cluster in the Large Magellanic Cloud [PDF]
We present results for an up-to-date uncatalogued star cluster projected towards the Eastern side of the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) outer disc. The new object was discovered from a search of loose star cluster in the Magellanic Clouds' (MCs) outskirts ...

AbstractThe centers of most galaxies in the local Universe are occupied by compact, barely resolved sources. Based on their structural properties, position in the Fundamental Plane, and integrated spectra, these sources clearly have a stellar origin. They are therefore called ‘nuclear star clusters’ (NCs) or ‘stellar nuclei’.
