Analyzing Inflation with P – Star Model [PDF]

open access: yesFaslnāmah-i Pizhūhish/Nāmah-i Iqtisādī, 2010
This paper presents a test of the P* model using Iran quarterly data over the period 1988-2005. The basic formulation of the P* model, which is derived from the quantity theory of money, is manipulated to obtain an equation for the price gap and level of

S-process in low-mass extremely metal-poor stars

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2012
We present post-processing s-process calculations for the core He-flash of a 1M☉ star with and Z = 10−8. Our model shows neutron densities larger than 1014cm−3, resulting in the production of s-process elements. The model reproduces the C, O, Sr, and Ba

A Comprehensive Calibration Method for a Star Tracker and Gyroscope Units Integrated System

open access: yesSensors, 2018
The integration of a star tracker and gyroscope units (GUs) can take full advantage of the benefits of each, and provide continuous and accurate attitude information with a high update rate.

Mapping the evolution of mitochondrial complex I through structural variation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Respiratory complex I (CI) is crucial for bioenergetic metabolism in many prokaryotes and eukaryotes. It is composed of a conserved set of core subunits and additional accessory subunits that vary depending on the organism. Here, we categorize CI subunits from available structures to map the evolution of CI across eukaryotes. Respiratory complex I (CI)

Neutron Star Models.

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal, 1959
An equation of state for a neutron gas, derived from the work of T. H. R. Skyrme, is given. Relativistic forms of the terms in the equation were not used. At densities of >10/sup 15/ g/cc where relativistic terms would be important, this equation is not expected to be valid.

Enteropathogenic E. coli shows delayed attachment and host response in human jejunum organoid‐derived monolayers compared to HeLa cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Plasmodium falciparum gametogenesis essential protein 1 (GEP1) is a transmission‐blocking target

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study shows Plasmodium falciparum GEP1 is vital for activating sexual stages of malarial parasites even independently of a mosquito factor. Knockout parasites completely fail gamete formation even when a phosphodiesterase inhibitor is added. Two single‐nucleotide polymorphisms (V241L and S263P) are found in 12%–20% of field samples.

Research on Automatic Path Planning Method of Warehouse Inspection Robot

open access: yesApplied Artificial Intelligence, 2023
The patrol robot is an important guarantee for the safety of the enterprise’s warehouse. However, due to the large number of patrol target points, the automatic path planning of the patrol robot is difficult and inefficient.

Biophysical analysis of angiotensin II and amyloid‐β cross‐interaction in aggregation and membrane disruption

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Angiotensin II (AngII), a neuropeptide, interacts with amyloid‐β (Aβ), a key player in Alzheimer's disease. This study reveals that AngII reduces Aβ aggregation and membrane disruption in vitro. Biophysical assays and molecular modeling suggest AngII binds disordered Aβ forms, potentially modulating early amyloidogenic events and contributing to ...

Restoration Method of a Blurred Star Image for a Star Sensor Under Dynamic Conditions

open access: yesSensors, 2019
Under the dynamic working conditions of a star sensor, motion blur of the star will appear due to its energy dispersion during imaging, leading to the degradation of the star centroid accuracy and attitude accuracy of the star sensor.
