The author presents an elementary proof of the existence theorem for \(*\)-products on a symplectic manifold originally due to \textit{M. de Wilde} and \textit{P. B. A. Lecomte} [Lett. Math. Phys. 7, 235-241 (1983; Zbl 0514.53031)]. The exposition is also based on unpublised work by Lecomte and de Wilde.

Star-product in the presence of a monopole [PDF]
We present a deformed star-product for a particle in the presence of a magnetic monopole. The product is obtained within a self-dual quantization-dequantization scheme, with the correspondence between classical observables and operators defined with the help of a quaternionic Hilbert space, following work by Emch and Jadczyk.

Heavy flavour production at STAR [PDF]
e present measurements on $D^0$ meson production via direct reconstruction of its hadronic decay channel $D^0\to K $ in minimum bias $d$+Au and Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$=200 GeV with $p_T$ up to $\sim$3 GeV/$c$. Non-photonic electron spectra from the charm semi-leptonic decays are analyzed from the same data set as well as in $p$+$p ...

Some properties defined by relative versions of star-covering properties II
In this paper we consider some recent relative versions of Menger property called set strongly star Menger and set star Menger properties and the corresponding Hurewicz-type properties. In particular, using [2], we "easily" prove that the set strong star

Quarkonium Production at STAR [PDF]
We report the results on heavy quarkonium production in p+p and Au+Au collisions at midrapidity via the dielectron decay channel at sqrt(s_NN) = 200 GeV from the STAR experiment at RHIC. Results on the J/psi p_T spectra in p+p collisions are presented for 2 < p_T < 10 GeV/c. The B-meson feed-down contribution to the inclusive J/psi yield has been

Obstructions for twist star products [PDF]
In this short note we point out that not every star product is induced by a Drinfel'd twist by showing that not every Poisson structure is induced by a classical $r$-matrix. Examples include the higher genus symplectic Pretzel surfaces and the symplectic sphere $\mathbb{S}^2$.

Higher Spin Gauge Theories: Star-Product and AdS Space [PDF]
We review the theory of higher spin gauge fields in 2+1 and 3+1 dimensional anti-de Sitter space and present some new results on the structure of higher spin currents and explicit solutions of the massless equations. A previously obtained d=3 integrating
