Trithio‐naphthalic anhydride‐based photosensitizer for photodynamic activity
A trithio‐naphthalic anhydride photosensitizer (NapS) is created by simple thionation, switching excited‐state pathways to deliver both type I and type II reactive oxygen species. NapS enables efficient photodynamic therapy under normoxia and hypoxia, achieving strong cancer cell killing with low dark toxicity.
