Anti‐Obesity Pharmacotherapy and Emerging Multimodal Interventions for Obstructive Sleep Apnea
Cellular and molecular mechanisms of obesity‐related obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). ADMA: asymmetric dimethyrarginine, NLRP3: nucleotide‐binding domain, leucine‐rich repeat family, Pyrin domain containing 3, TLR: toll‐like receptors, IL‐1β: interleukin‐1β, IL‐6: interleukin‐6; LPS: lipopolysacharide, ROS: reactive oxygen species, TNF‐α.

ABSTRACT This paper aims to analyze the effect of board tenure on firms' waste management disclosure and explore whether this effect is amplified by board gender and cultural diversity. The analysis is based on data from 832 large firms worldwide from 2011 to 2020.

Read the free Plain Language Summary for this article on the Journal blog. Abstract Grazing exclusion is widely used for grassland restoration but often improves productivity slowly, whereas nitrogen (N) addition can rapidly boost productivity yet may erode plant diversity and community stability over the long term.

Keplerian disks and outflows around binary post-AGB stars
There is a class of binary post-AGB stars that are surrounded by Keplerian disks and that often present outflows resulting from gas escaping from the disk. To date there are seven sources that have been studied in detail through interferometric millimeter-wave maps of CO lines.

Optical and Near Infrared Observations of Post-AGB Stars [PDF]
The post-AGB stars rapidly change their spectral energy distribution on their way from the asymptotic giant branch(AGB) to planetary nebula stage. They are generally surrounded by cool and extended dust shells emitting largely in the infrared wavelengths.A selected sample of the post-AGB candidates were observed using the CCDand IR camera at Kiso and ...

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to synthesize evidence on the influence of Enterococcus faecalis on endodontic treatment failure and strategies for its elimination. This study followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta‐Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines and was registered in PROSPERO (CRD420251022741).

Evolutionary Properties of Post-AGB and Post-EAGB Stars [PDF]
We discuss the evolutionary properties of shell burning star models which, due to the erosion of the external hydrogen envelope, leave the Hayashi track and evolve to the blue of the HR diagram. We analyze the properties of star models which evolve off the Asymptotic Giant Branch (AGB), the Early-AGB or the Red Giant Branch (RGB).

ABSTRACT Corruption is a major problem that undermines the foundations of democracy and reduces citizens' trust in institutions. However, even in the world's most advanced countries, citizens accept certain levels of corruption. This tolerance towards corruption (TC) reduces the impact of anti‐corruption actions and ends up giving a patina of normality

Intermediate mass stars (1-8 solar masses) evolve along the Asymptotic Giant Branch after completion of hydrogen and helium core burning. At the tip they lose for several ten to hundred thousand years copious amounts of mass and exhibit various forms of variability, as for example large-amplitude variations with periods of one to five years.

Abstract The John Dory Zeus faber is a commercially exploited demersal fish species with a known distribution ranging from the Northeast Atlantic to parts of the Indian and Pacific oceans. A previous genetic survey using cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) DNA barcodes suggested the presence of two geographically segregated taxonomic units within Z ...
