The atmospheres of extreme helium stars

2008
Extreme helium (EHe) stars are low-mass early-type supergiants with hydrogen-deficient and carbon-rich atmospheres. Progress and recent results in the quantitative analysis of their atmospheres are reviewed, including the first results to include the effects of line-blanketing in the model atmospheres.
