Observations of Stellar Winds in Early Type Stars [PDF]
I have been asked to review the “observations” of winds in “early-type” stars. This normally means stars of spectral type OB and those of the Wolf-Rayet (WR) class. In this paper I will concentrate on the massive population I stars of these types, and primarily the O and WR classes on which most of the recent work has been done.

ABSTRACT Background Type 1 plasminogen deficiency (PLGD‐1) is an ultra‐rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by variants in the PLG gene and affects approximately 1.6 individuals per million. The condition is characterized by decreased plasminogen levels and impaired function, resulting in fibrin‐rich lesions on mucous membranes throughout the body.

Detection of moving groups among early type stars [PDF]
Our procedure to detect moving groups in the solar neighbourhood (Chen et al., 1997) in the four-dimensional space of the stellar velocity components and age has been improved.

Personalized Zebrafish Models for Fusion‐Positive Pediatric Sarcomas
ABSTRACT Clinical sequencing efforts have revolutionized our approaches to categorizing pediatric cancers in real time. This has dramatically improved our ability to profile pediatric tumors, identify actionable vulnerabilities, and influence clinical care.

The large-scale magnetic fields of planet-hosting solar-type stars [PDF]
Stellar magnetic fields and their associated phenomena influence stellar behaviour and evolution, and potentially have significant impacts on any surrounding planetary system.

ABSTRACT Objectives The association between exposure to dinutuximab beta (DB) and event‐free survival (EFS) or overall survival (OS) of neuroblastoma patients was assessed using data collected during three clinical trials (five cohorts). Methods A systematic review (March 2026) was conducted to identify relevant studies (prospective; registered DB ...

Magnetic fields on young, solar-type stars [PDF]
This thesis describes an investigation aimed at using spectropolarimetric observations of the magnetic fields of young solar-type stars to improve the understanding of the early development of solar and stellar dynamos and activity cycles.

Asteroseismology of massive stars: new insights of stellar interiors from their pulsations [PDF]
Massive stars are important metal factories which provide energy and chemical feedback to their surroundings. However, stellar evolution models currently contain large theoretical uncertainties for physical mechanisms at work in the deep interiors of ...

ABSTRACT Background Survival after relapse in pediatric acute myeloid leukemia (AML) remains poor, highlighting the critical importance of identifying prognostic factors to guide optimal relapse management. Methods We investigated the prognostic impact of multiparameter flow cytometry (MFC) measurable residual disease (MRD) in 188 patients with first ...
