Recent results on low mass AGB stars are presented. Observed amounts of AGB mass loss imply that thermal pulses will only be encountered for stars of initial mass less than about 4M⊙ for Pop I and 3 M⊙ for Pop II. Mc – L, Me – τif, and Mc – Tb relations are summarized.

Carbon monoxide in low-mass dwarf stars [PDF]
We compare high resolution infrared observations of the CO 3-1 bands in the 2.297-2.310 micron region of M dwarfs and one L dwarf with theoretical expectations. We find a good match between the observational and synthetic spectra throughout the 2000-3500K temperature regime investigated.

ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

The Role of Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation in Ataxia‐Telangiectasia
ABSTRACT Background Ataxia‐telangiectasia (A‐T) is a DNA repair disorder characterized by neurodegeneration, immunodeficiency, and cancer predisposition. Hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) is an established therapy in related disorders such as Fanconi anemia (FA) and Nijmegen breakage syndrome (NBS), but its role in A‐T is unclear.

Low-mass companions to nine stars
We present an independent spectroscopic and radial velocity analysis for nine stars from the Pennsylvania-Toruń Planet Search. For BD+24 4697, we present an updated true companion's mass (0.16$\pm$0.02 \, M$_{\odot}$), as well as evidence of stellar activity.

A Case Study of Low‐Mass Star Formation [PDF]
This article synthesizes observational data from an extensive program aimed toward a comprehensive understanding of star formation in a low-mass star-forming molecular cloud. New observations and published data spanning from the centimeter wave band to the near infrared reveal the high and low density molecular gas, dust, and pre-main sequence stars in

Flaring latitudes in ensembles of low-mass stars
ABSTRACT The distribution of small-scale magnetic fields in stellar photospheres is an important ingredient in our understanding of the magnetism of low-mass stars. Their spatial distribution connects the field generated in the stellar interior with the outer corona and the large scale field, and thereby affects the space weather of ...

Dietary Protein Intake and Peritoneal Protein Losses in Peritoneal Dialysis Patients
ABSTRACT Introduction Peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients lose protein in their waste dialysate, potentially increasing their risk for malnutrition. We wished to determine whether there was any association between losses and dietary protein intake (DPI). Methods DPI was assessed from 24‐h dietary recall using Nutrics software.
