Rotating and Oscillating Neutron Stars
1996Since neutron stars are extremely compact objects with strong gravity, general relativity must be employed in modelling their properties. The structure and gravitational fields of spherically symmetric, nonrotating stars are governed by the Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff equations, a set of ordinary differential equations.

Bifurcations in Non Oscillating Stars
1990The equations of a polytropic gas sphere are studied from the point of view of similarity solutions and Quasi-Invariance transformations. Ordinary differential equations are obtained that generalize Emden’s equations. Critical points are seen to exist in most cases and lead to bifurcations in the density space.
