The Astrophysical Journal, 1984 We examine the possible cosmological consequences of Population III stars. Their dark remnants could provide the ''missing mass.'' Their light could have produced either the entire 3 K background or observable distortions in its spectrum. Their heat or explosions could have reionized the universe and perhaps produced galaxies.

The Astrophysical Journal, 1982 There appears to be no observational evidence for the existence of true Population III stars (zero-metal abundance, first generation stars) in our Galaxy. They may only be found in an earlier generation of galaxies which formed in the denser regions of space, such as the Virgo cluster.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
FEBS Letters, EarlyView.We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).
