Particle transport in solar type stars

AIP Conference Proceedings, 1985
The potential effects of three particle transport processes on solar evolution are discussed. Even though its effect is not very large, atomic diffusion should in principle be included in the standard solar model. It increases the neutrino flux. Turbulent diffusion could significantly reduce the neutrino flux.

Lithium depletion in solar-type stars

2008
The theme of this conference is, essentially, stars with surface convective zones. Most of the phenomena discussed here, such as chromospheric and coronal activity, or angular momentum loss, occur because these stars representing a broad range of temperature and mass have surface convection. But despite the fundamental importance of convection for what

Rotating models of young solar-type stars

2016
Context. Understanding the angular momentum evolution of stars is one of the greatest challenges of modern stellar physics. Aims: We study the predicted rotational evolution of solar-type stars from the pre-main sequence to the solar age with 1D rotating evolutionary models including physical ingredients.
