Self-Correlation Analysis of the Photometric Variability of T Tauri Stars. II. A Survey
Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, 2010ABSTRACT.We have used archival CCD data, Fourier analysis, and self-correlation analysis to study the photometric time variability of 162 T Tauri stars and related objects, including Herbig Ae/Be stars. Many show periodic variability, presumably due to rotation of a spotted star in most cases. For the nonperiodic stars, we have estimated an upper limit

Accretion Mass-Loss Relation and Variability in T Tauri Stars
1998We discuss the different line-emission regions in T Tauri stars and summarize their properties. Results from modeling of emission line profiles and fluxes from the accreting gas and from shock-excited regions close to the stellar surface show that the emission lines originate in the accretion flow.
