VINS-Mono: A Robust and Versatile Monocular Visual-Inertial State Estimator [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on robotics, 2017
One camera and one low-cost inertial measurement unit (IMU) form a monocular visual-inertial system (VINS), which is the minimum sensor suite (in size, weight, and power) for the metric six degrees-of-freedom (DOF) state estimation.

The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World 2021

open access: yes, 2021
Multi-sector nutrition programmes (MSNPs) have gained increasing prominence over the last two decades to address the many direct and underlying determinants of malnutrition.

Supersqueezed states [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review A, 1993
We derive the supersqueeze operator for the supersymmetric harmonic oscillator, using Baker-Campbell-Hausdorff relations for the supergroup OSP(2/2). Combining this with the previously obtained superdisplacement operator, we derive the supersqueezed states. These are the supersymmetric generalization of the squeezed states of the harmonic oscillator.

The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World 2020

open access: yes, 2020
Five years into the 2030 Agenda, it is time to assess progress and to question whether continuing efforts implemented thus far will allow countries to reach SDG 2 targets.

Investor-State vs. State-State Dispute Settlement [PDF]

open access: yesSSRN Electronic Journal, 2018
International investment agreements have provoked intense criticism in the policy debate during recent years. Particularly contentious has been their "ISDS" mechanisms, which enable investors to litigate against host countries. This paper examines whether host countries would be better o¤ with state-state dispute settlement (SSDS), as often alleged ...

STATE

open access: yesLaw and modern states, 2014
The essence of a state is the expression of a society’s political organization. There are many approaches to the essence of a state: the elite theory, the technocratic theory, the pluralism theory and others. These are distinguished by their correlation between state and society as well as by their view on the origin of the state. Each of the essential

COHERENT STATES AND SQUEEZED STATES, SUPERCOHERENT STATES AND SUPERSQUEEZED STATES [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
This article reports on a program to obtain and understand coherent states for general systems. Most recently this has included supersymmetric systems. A byproduct of this work has been studies of squeezed and supersqueezed states. To obtain a physical understanding of these systems has always been a primary goal.

Number state filtered coherent states

open access: yesQuantum Information Processing, 2018
Number state filtering in coherent states leads to sub-Poissonian photon statistics. These states are more suitable for phase estimation when compared with the coherent states. Nonclassicality of these states is quantified in terms of the negativity of the Wigner function and the entanglement potential.

STATE STATE STATE

open access: yes, 2016
STATE is the deadly God who kneads and bakes our bread. The state has the power to form our will and show us how to perform our rituals. Like dough, the state is kneaded by its citizens, competing states, and raised by yeast – the collective unconscious. The finished product is often insufficient, gets burned or simply moulds over time. STATE premiered
