3D‐Printed Sulfur‐Derived Polymers With Controlled Architectures for Lithium‐Sulfur Batteries
Rheology‐guided formulation design for direct ink writing enables the fabrication of 3D sulfur copolymer cathodes with controlled architectures for lithium‐sulfur batteries. The printed electrodes exhibit multiscale porosity and high sulfur utilization, delivering enhanced electrochemical performance compared to conventional cast electrodes.

Battery state-of-charge estimation
Proceedings of the 2001 American Control Conference. (Cat. No.01CH37148), 2001This paper discusses the problem of lead acid battery state-of-charge estimation for (hybrid) electric vehicles. The problem is to accurately estimate the remaining battery capacity for both driver notification and automated energy management. The article presents a review of the problem, existing solution methods, presentation of a new solution method,

Estimating the state of charge of a battery
IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, 2004This brief considers the state of charge (SOC) estimation problem for electrochemical batteries. Using an electric circuit model of the battery given in the literature, it is shown how the open-circuit voltage (which is directly related to the SOC) can be estimated based on the terminal voltage and current measurements provided there is sufficient ...

State of charge estimator for NiMH batteries
Proceedings of the 41st IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2002., 2003A state of charge estimator for Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries, suitable for hybrid vehicles automotive applications, is proposed. The estimator is based on a statespace dynamic model of the battery which is obtained by modeling the kinetic of reactions and the diffusion phenomena.

Battery equalization based on state of charge
The 2014 2nd International Conference on Systems and Informatics (ICSAI 2014), 2014With the development and popularity of Lithium battery powered PEVs (Pure Electric Vehicles), BMS (Battery Management System) with equalization techniques become a key issue in high performance PEV design. This paper introduces a linear regression based real-time State of Charge calculation method through a second-order RC model of Lithium batteries ...

Gap states of charged solitons in polyacetylene
Physical Review B, 1989Abstract : By considering the electron interactions in polyacetylene, it is found that there exist two gap states in charged solitons of trans- polyacetylene: one is deep level, and the other is shallow level. The deep one shifts 0.23 eV down (for a positive soliton) or up (for a negative soliton) from the center of the gap, while the shallow one is 0 ...
