The existing theory points out that the soliton in polyacetylene only possess one electronic bound state-the mid gap state. Our work shows that, due to the electron interaction and the discrete atomic structure of polymer chain, the charged solitons have two bound states in the gap; one is a deep level, which is 0.2eV away from the midpoint of the gap;
