Optimal Current Balance Control of Three-Level Inverter under Grid Voltage Unbalance: An Adaptive Dynamic Programming Approach

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
When the grid voltage is unbalanced, the positive and negative sequence components in the grid voltage cause grid current to be disordered. Under current balance control, proportional integral (PI) closed-loop control will increase the grid currents ...

Quantum feedback control of a solid-state qubit

open access: yes, 2002
We have studied theoretically the basic operation of a quantum feedback loop designed to maintain a desired phase of quantum coherent oscillations in a single solid-state qubit.

Dammarenediol II enhances etoposide‐induced apoptosis by targeting O‐GlcNAc transferase and Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling in liver cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

Quantum coherence control of solid-state charge qubit by means of a suboptimal feedback algorithm

open access: yes, 2006
The quantum coherence control of a solid-state charge qubit is studied by using a suboptimal continuous feedback algorithm within the Bayesian feedback scheme.

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Sliding Mode Output Regulation for a Boost Power Converter

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
This work deals with the novel application of the sliding mode (discontinuous) output regulation theory to a nonlinear electrical circuit, the so-called boost power converter.

Multi-User Diversity vs. Accurate Channel State Information in MIMO Downlink Channels

open access: yes, 2009
In a multiple transmit antenna, single antenna per receiver downlink channel with limited channel state feedback, we consider the following question: given a constraint on the total system-wide feedback load, is it preferable to get low-rate/coarse ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Robust Control of Unknown Observable Nonlinear Systems Solved as a Zero-Sum Game

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
An optimal robust control solution for general nonlinear systems with unknown but observable dynamics is advanced here. The underlying Hamilton-Jacobi-Isaacs (HJI) equation of the corresponding zero-sum two-player game (ZS-TP-G) is learned using a Q ...
