Charge State of Planar Channeled Ions

Gap states of charged solitons in polyacetylene
Physical Review B, 1989Abstract : By considering the electron interactions in polyacetylene, it is found that there exist two gap states in charged solitons of trans- polyacetylene: one is deep level, and the other is shallow level. The deep one shifts 0.23 eV down (for a positive soliton) or up (for a negative soliton) from the center of the gap, while the shallow one is 0 ...

Theoretical equations of state for a charged fluid
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2019In this article, we present a molecular thermodynamic study of a system of N particles contained within a volume V and interacting via a hard-core pair potential with an attractive interaction according to the Wolf model for charged systems. This variable-range potential is characterized by three parameters: the repulsive hard-core diameter σ, the ...

Ground State of the Charged Bose Gas
Physical Review, 1962The ground-state energy of the charged Bose gas is calculated by the pair-correlation variational method of Girardeau and Arnowitt. The method is exact in the high-density limit (${r}_{s}\ensuremath{\ll}1$) and provides a variational extrapolation to intermediate densities.
