Charge Detection Mass Spectrometry with Resolved Charge States
Journal of the American Society for Mass Spectrometry, 2012Charge detection mass spectrometry (CDMS) measurements have been performed for cytochrome c and alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) monomer using a modified cone trap incorporating a cryogenically cooled JFET. Cooling the JFET increases its transconductance and lowers thermal noise, improving the signal to noise (S/N) ratio.

State of charge estimator for NiMH batteries
Proceedings of the 41st IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2002., 2003A state of charge estimator for Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries, suitable for hybrid vehicles automotive applications, is proposed. The estimator is based on a statespace dynamic model of the battery which is obtained by modeling the kinetic of reactions and the diffusion phenomena.
